MY ANGEL

Since we began our life together
On that special day,
Guardian angels have been with us
Every step of the way.

The ray of sunshine between dark clouds,
My solace in despair,
You are the angel sent from heaven,
Here my life to share.

As we travelled through life's tangled maze,
You were beside me.
That you would share my life forever,
Was my only plea.

Now having reached the end of our life,
Let me hold your hand,
And say farewell till we meet again
In the promised land.
