I WAIT FOR TOMORROW

I wait for tomorrow.
Tomorrow the sun will shine,
The miracle will happen,
Tomorrow the world is mine!

I wait for tomorrow.
Today not much is going my way.
I know the day will go by,
And it will end like any other day.

I wait for tomorrow.
Yesterday has come and gone,
I saw all my dreams fade,
Vanish like on wings of a swan.

I wait for tomorrow.
My past is all too familiar to me:
What I strived to achieve,
The changed person I wanted to be!

I wait for tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my day of expectation,
My day of new hope,
My day of triumphant vindication.
