DOG AND CAT

Dog and cat
Had a big spat,
"You are too fat"
Declared the cat,
"You are skin and bone,"
Said dog in a gruffly tone.

Dog chased cat up a fence,
Cat called the dog "dense,"
And the war was on.

Dog shook the fence,
Cat knew self defence
And climbed up a tree,
Looking down with glee.
Out came Lady McBride,
She said "cat, get inside,
And dog, you big louse,
Back to your own house."

And the war was over.

The End
