COON

I don’t know what to make of this coon,
He comes around every day about noon.
He looks through the living room glass door,
Stares for a bit, then continues with his chore.

I ask him what he wants but get no reply,
I don’t for a minute believe that he is shy.
Could it possibly be that he wants to be chummy?
Or is he looking for a juicy snack for his tummy.

The other day I left him a tasty snack.
Next day he and all his friends were back.
I don't really mind being friends with them all,
But what will I feed them, the next time they call?

The End
