Two small, mischievous pups
Had their downs and their ups.
Once they climbed on a rainbow,
To see how high they could go.
It made them feel so proud
To land on a white cloud.
The cloud was soft and smooth,
So the pups had a snooze.
When they opened their eyes
And looked at the blue skies,
They noticed it was dawn
And the rainbow was gone.
Oh no, what now, they said.
We didn’t use our head.
We can still see our town,
But how do we get down.
But as luck would have it
The cloud veered right a bit,
Straight for a mountain top
And landed with a plop.
The pups ran down real fast,
You might say in a blast,
And quickly ran back home,
Saying we’ll no more roam.
